Gowthami S
Abstract
Existing 4G networks have seen extensive use in IoT applications and are constantly adapting to meet the requirements of emerging IoT use cases. To improve cellular operations, IoT security, and network difficulties, and to push the future of the Internet to the periphery, 5G networks are projected to facilitate a large expansion of the IoT of today. Existing IoT solutions struggle with issues including scalability, security, and compatibility due to the constantly expanding number of connected devices. This research looks at the history of the internet of things, the 5th generation network and its features, the global regulatory norms and issues associated with the internet of things, and the digital strategy of the Bhutan Power Corporation for the smart grid.
