Face Recognition In Video Images Using Soft Computing Against The Variation In Illumination And Position

This paper explores the use of Soft Computing techniques for Face Recognition in video images against the variation in illumination and pose. Due of the enormous variations in how the face appears in various lighting and positions, it is a difficult assignment for computer vision. To increase the recognition process's accuracy, soft computing methods integrating evolutionary algorithms, artificial neural networks, and fuzzy logic are applied. The paper discusses the various methods of CNN used to identify the face in various lighting conditions and poses. It also discusses the challenges faced while performing the recognition process and the various solutions used to address them. lastly, the paper concludes with a discussion of the consequences obtained as well as upcoming research trends into the area of Soft Computing for Face angle Recognition in video images.
