Abstract
This paper aims to investigate the use of ML in cybersecurity. This paper also explores how ML improves threat recognition, anomalies and trends discernment, and predictive assessment of digital protection structures. This paper also looks at the current literature and examines the procedures used to apply machine learning in cybersecurity such as data accumulation, the formation of models and their deployment. The statistics demonstrate efficacious enhancements on the IDPS, the network security, and the automatic threats response with ML solutions in deployment. Some of the issues described in the report include issues like the requirement of frequent updates of the model and privacy matters. It also outlines the agenda for the future of deep learning and what is considered as one of the promising fields within AI. The conclusion restates ML’s centrality in enhancing the protection against new and enhanced threats while highlighting its relevance in future protection designs.
